HUMAN MOVEMENT SCIENCES GRADUATE PROGRAM

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

The general objective of PPGCMH is to form professors, researchers and other human resources specialized in Human Movement Science following the objective of UDESC’s Institutional Development Plan of strengthening itself as a generator center of science, technology and innovation.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

• Form qualified and autonomous professionals to work in teaching and in scientific and technological development within the scope of Human Movement Sciences;
• Form ethical researchers that are able of theoretical reflection and critical systematization of knowledge to multiply scientific knowledge and carry out impact research, consolidating PPGCMH/UDESC as a center of scientific and academic excellence in national and international scenario;
• Promote the relationship between PPGCMH researchers and undergraduate students, especially those involved in scientific initiation and extension, and other researchers in order to socialize and deepen the knowledge produced in research for the entire community;
• Contribute to achieve the university's social responsibility based on the promotion, access and actions resulting from PPGCMH’s teaching, research and extension.
