Music Graduate Program

The candidates of the Master´s Program selection process must present an undergraduate diploma and, for the doctorate selection process, a master´s diploma.

All candidates will be submitted to a single selection process, regulated by a notice. More information is published in the selection notices.

The notice of the selection process for regular students is published every December. The exams occur during the first semester (calendar year) for classes beginning in August.

The notice of the selection process for special students is published every semester aiming at selecting students interested in coursing disciplines of the MGP. Registration opens in February for ingress in the first semester and in July for ingress in the second semester (calendar year). A special student has no affiliation to the MGP and can course individual disciplines. To candidate as a special student, it is necessary to have concluded an undergraduate program or already be a special student in other graduate program recognized by Capes. The disciplines offered each semester are established in a specific notice. Rules and alterations are provided in the notice.
