The Physical Therapy Graduate Program at the University of the State of Santa Catarina (UDESC) was recommended by CAPES in December 2010 and started with the Course at the Master's level in Physiotherapy in August 2011.
The objective of the Program is to train qualified human resources to work in teaching, research and extension activities in the area of Physical Therapy. Empowering the individual to act critically in the development of scientific research of high relevance to the area, as well as to proactively interfere in institutional policies for research and teaching in Physical Therapy.
Mission
Train human resources in the stricto sensu graduate program, focusing on the skills and competences to teaching, research and extension activities in Physical Therapy, as well as perform health management activities supported by an evidence-based practice, meeting the demands of expanding the higher education and health services in Santa Catarina.
