When scholarships are available, regular students with integral dedication and no employment relationship will be prioritized (if the student has an employment relationship, he/she must be released from professional activities and not receive remuneration).
For the granting of a scholarship, the CEGP committee will attend the chronological order of the semester in which the student entered the master's degree and, subsequently, the student classification order corresponding to their selection process.

When a fellowship is available, the PPGEC secretariat will contact the student to be awarded.
The scholarship will be awarded for a period of up to 12 (twelve) months, and can be renewed annually until reaching the limit of 24 (twenty-four) months.
Currently, three types of scholarshipss are available: CAPES/DS; UDESC/PROMOP and FAPESC. See more information below:
CAPES/DS
Information on the Social Demand Program (DS) is available on the CAPES website.
The forms required for the registration of the fellow will be made available by the PPGEC secretariat. It is also necessary to have your curriculum registered on the Lattes Platform, stating that you are a master's student and a CAPES fellow.
Comments:
1. All scholarship recipients benefited by the DS program will only be able to receive monthly payments in accounts of Banco do Brasil;
2. The bank account must be ACTIVE to receive the scholarship. If the account is blocked or inactive, the funds from the scholarship payment are returned to CAPES.
FAPESC
FAPESC scholarships are made available to Santa Catarina's graduate programs through public calls. Therefore, rules and guidelines for the granting and distribution of scholarships are detailed in such public notices. To follow public calls in progress, access the FAPESC website.
The forms and information necessary for the registration of new FAPESC fellows will be provided by the CEGP secretariat.
Comments:
1. Students covered by FAPESC scholarships may only receive tuition fees in Banco do Brasil accounts;
2. The bank account must be ACTIVE to receive the scholarships. If the account is blocked or inactive, the funds from the scholarship payment are returned to FAPESC.
Information regarding the “Programa de Bolsas de Monitoria de Pós-Graduação” (PROMOP) is available on the UDESC website. For the registration of new PROMOP scholarship holders, it is necessary to fill a forms A, B and D, available on the UDESC website, and the updated Lattes Curriculum, which must contain the information that the person is a master's student and a scholarship holder in the PROMOP modality.
The renewal of the PROMOP scholarship always takes place in July of each year and forms A, B, D and F must be filled out again (available on the Udesc website). Even those scholarship holders who started receiving the scholarship in March, must also renew (provided they meet the requirements of Resolution No. 01/2017 - PPGEC).
